We just recently got a puppy off of one of her litters! We have been in touch for two years and they are truly amazing! Communicate constantly, up to date on everything and by far the best experience over the last two years😍😍 we love our Mako boy!! He’s adjusting so well! I HIGHLY recommend!!!! Where do I begin?? JAN family GS was wonderful! They truly treat the puppies as their own! They were honest throughout the process. Our vet (actually everyone) admires our pup and she is very healthy! Heidi was wonderful to work with and really prepared the puppies for their transition to their new homes. Whenever I was looking into finding a German Shepherd puppy, I researched for the most reliable breeder I could find. I came across JAN Family Shepherds and reached out right away. I cannot say enough wonderful things about JAN German Shepherds. This family truly cares about their dogs as well as each and every puppy. From our first inquiry, we have had nothing but positive experiences. Enid is the first dog our family brought into our home, and Heidi has been available to answer any questions we have had. I had been searching for the right German shepherd Breeder for over a year when I found JAN Family German Shepherds. The buying process is well explained and simple. When I picked my dog up he was clean and healthy. The breeder followed up with me for the first few months to check and see how he was adjusting. She also asked me to send pictures every now and again. He has had a great temperament and has been very social since the day I got him. I get the same comments from people all the time, “He’s big and has beautiful markings.”. He guards our property during the day and snuggles with my 6 and 5 year old daughters at night. I would purchase from JAN Family German Shepherds again.

I was considering adding a new puppy to the household and decided to look for a breed that would be good around people and with a good temperament. I happened upon the JAN Family German Shepherd website and was pleased to see that their dogs are with the family and they take care in breeding for health and good disposition. I’m glad I found them. I waited for a puppy-yet-to-be-born and got my female Black and Tan puppy this past summer. She is definitely “confident, smart, and playful” as they described. Her temperament is all I could have wished for. She loves people and new places and events. She is a hit at her doggy day care. She visits an Assisted Living facility with me and loves the attention she gets there. She loved her obedience classes (but we need more practice.) Although demeanor is more important than looks, her looks are excellent. Local police have stopped their cruisers to call out the window, “Good lookin’ pup.”

I think I drove her nuts but adding a family member for 10 to 15 years is no easy decision. You better trust the breeder and no better communication and overall care for where these pups are headed to than from JAN GSD. Their whole family, made it great, for my whole family. This family actually cares about the dogs, not the profits. Many breeders out there, pick one that cares more for the animals than anything else. This place does. Thank you Heidi and family for filling that void we all needed in our life with a perfect GSD.

He has a wonderful temperament, quick to listen, and is very affectionate. He is good with our three young children at such a young age, with teaching and guidance. We are so in love with Thor. He is so smart, he even learned to ring bells to go outside with minimal training. His coat is so shiny and beautiful. We get so many compliments on how pretty he is. He is also the first puppy I have received from a breeder who did not have worms. You can tell he was well taken care of by the breeder. We highly recommend JAN family shepherds.
